Whether quartz or mechanical, watches with an obvious problem should be repaired immediately. Nevermind that it’s still keeping good time; if your car's engine has an oil leak that you don’t repair it will run fine right up to the time it blows up from lack of oil! Squeaky brakes don’t fix themselves and if your watch is fogging up From a leak then it’s getting rusty as you’re reading this. Both will cost more if you do nothing about it.
